BioFX® ABTS HRP Microwell Substrate

• Contains 2.2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)-diammonium salt
• Supplied as a one-component, ready-to-use solution
• Unreacted substrate should be colorless to very light green
• Soluble blue-green product obtained upon reaction with horseradish peroxidase

Stable for a minimum of 18 months from the date of manufacture when stored at 2°C - 8°C

Storage is recommended at 2°C - 8°C

Protect from direct sunlight and UV sources

Not recommended for membrane or IHC applications that require a precipitating reaction product

Tests were performed to compare three different ABTS Peroxidase microwell solutions, including BioFX ABTS. The BioFX ABTS was shown to be between 18% and 24% more sensitive than the competitive products in this assay. In addition to producing overall higher ODs, the BioFX ABTS demonstrated lower background signal than the competitors included in this study.
