BioFX® AP New Magenta Immunohistochemistry Substrate

BioFX® AP New Magenta detection system is a stable, liquid, three-component substrate for immunohistochemistry applications that produces a fine magenta precipitate at the sites of alkaline phosphatase activity.

Product Code APNM - BioFX® AP-New Magenta Immunohistochemistry Substrate
Product Description

Supplied as a three-component system:

Reagent A - TAC Buffer (Modified Gormori's Tris Azo-Coupling Buffer) (Product Code: TACB) Reagent B - Initiator Solution (Hexa-azonium Salt Initiator) (Product Code: IAPR)             Reagent C - New Magenta Solution (Product Code: NMAG)

Produces a pink-to-magenta precipitate at the sites of alkaline phosphatase activity

How it Works

The TAC Buffer coupled with naphthol is enzymatically hydrolyzed by alkaline phosphatase

A reaction occurs in the presence of hexazotized substrate producing the magenta precipitate

Shelf Life
