APMM - AP-New Magenta Membrane Substrate |
| Product Description |
- Supplied as a three-component system:
- TACB - Reagent A - TAC Buffer (Modified Gormori's Tris Azo-Coupling Buffer)
- IAPR - Reagent B - Initiator Solution (Hexa-azonium Salt Initiator)
- NMAG - Reagent C - New Magenta Solution
- Produces a pink-to-magenta precipitate at the sites of alkaline phosphatase activity
|
| How it Works |
- The TAC Buffer coupled with naphthol is enzymatically hydrolyzed by alkaline phosphatase
- A reaction occurs in the presence of hexazotized substrate producing the magenta precipitate
|
| Shelf Life |
- Stable for a minimum of 18 months from the date of manufacture when stored at 2°C to 8°C in the original container
