BioFX® DAB Immunohistochemistry Substrate

Supplied as a two-component liquid substrate

DABA - Reagent A - DAB Immunohistochemistry Concentrate

DABB - Reagent B- DAB Immunohistochemistry Reaction Buffer

Reaction with peroxidase results in a light golden brown to dark brown precipitate

DAB (3,3'-diaminobenzidine) is oxidized in the presence of peroxidase and hydrogen peroxide resulting in the deposition of a brown, alcohol-insoluble precipitate at the site of enzymatic activity

Stable for a minimum of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored at 2°C - 8°C in the original container

After combination of the two reagents, the resulting 1X solution is stable for approximately 2 to 4 hours at room temperature (25°C)

The 1X solution may darken during this 2 - 4 hour time frame; this will not affect product performance

Store at 2°C - 8°C in the original container away from light and heat with lid tightly closed
