StabilZyme® AP Conjugate Stabilizer

Developed specifically for Alkaline Phosphatase (AP) conjugates in solution.

  • StabilZyme® AP stabilizer prevents the loss of catalytic activity and maintains stability of proteins in solution. It allows conjugate storage at use concentration, resulting in stable conjugates that require no dilution. It is also an excellent diluent, often decreases background, and increases signal for improved signal-to-noise ratios.
  • StabilZyme AP stabilizer readily incorporates into virtually any assay production protocol. Alkaline phosphatase conjugate can be added directly to StabilZyme AP stabilizer and is then ready for storage and use.

Stability Data

StabilZyme AP stabilizer efficacy was verified by real-time stability studies that included independent testing of the enzyme activity and the immunological activity by ELISA (see graph below). The studies were conducted using a monoclonal IgG-AP conjugate. Results of these analyses indicate superior performance of StabilZyme AP stabilizer compared to a common AP conjugate diluent. The monoclonal IgG-AP conjugate retained over 70% of its activity when stored in StabilZyme AP stabilizer for 24 months at room temperature.
